In this doTERRA natural solutions class we work through some really difficult emotional stuff. We practice and reinforce some incredible tools for busting stress by getting to the root of it. We also discuss resentment and how when we let go, it frees us from the emotional yuck creates in our world. Get ready for some tips and tricks that actually work.

doTERRA Natural Solutions Class Part 1: Stress and the importance of self care
1st Class Participant’s Emotional Wins/Breakthrough/Check-in: This participant shared that she missed an important event due to work burnout and stress. Normally she would have just pushed herself mentally and physically to not disappoint others. She felt she made a breakthrough to take time for herself and for her own self-care.
What Essential Oil did you use: The participant used DDR Prime used internally in capsule and used aromatically. The benefits of DDR are below:

2nd Class Participant’s Emotional Wins/Breakthrough/Check-in: This participant shared that she was feeling resentful about cleaning the kitchen after working and irritable with family members who were bickering. She shared that she remembered to focus on the positives in her life to be grateful for her healthy family and that she had food to eat, this helped her with cleaning and helped her to relax.
What Essential Oil did you use: The participant used Vetiver topically. She read that vetiver rolled on forearms hormone balancing and stress reduction.

Vetiver oil assists in becoming more rooted in the life and brings the individual back down to earth. Vetiver also assists individuals in deeply connecting with what they think and feel. In this way, Vetiver is incredibly supportive in all kinds of self-awareness work.
Feedback from group and coach: The Emotional Coach commented that during an AA meeting a sponsor shared that their sponsee had passed away and that person would always text her at the end of the day what were the 5 things she was grateful for. Hearing this helped the Emotional Coach shift her thinking into a more grateful perspective.
doTERRA Natural Solutions Class Part 3: Managing Expectations
3rd Class Participant’s Emotional Wins/Breakthrough/Check-in: This participant shared she was disappointed with a family member not spending the time she expected from that person. She discussed how she felt angry and the family member explained that she should communicate more of her feeling with the person. She realized later that she should have clearer communication with the family member.
What Essential Oil did you use: The participant used Adaptiv essential oil by diffusing aromatically.
The oil of Adaptability:

Feedback from group and coach: The emotional coach commented for the participant to think about the following: when she wasn’t having her needs met, how does she act out? Example: were you more sarcastic or withholding, when you didn't get what you were expecting. The Emotional Coach commented that in the past, she would stonewall (avoid/ignore) the person she was angry with by not talking when her needs or expectations were not met. The Emotional Coach shared that she was proud of the participant for feeling her feelings and if you are aware of behavior that is a win!
doTERRA Natural Solutions Class Challenge this week:
Share 5 things you are grateful for at the end of the day with a friend or family member. Also, journaling before bed is a daily inventory. This activity is wonderful, you can review the day and see if there is anyone that you need to revisit a conversation with, or apologize for something. In the 12 step AA Program taking a daily inventory is the 10th step.
*Note the Emotional Coach made was that research says, it takes 21 days to make new patterns or new habits. She calls it a (deer path) for creating a new habit.
